With the wide range in dates the moose can be hunted from velvet in late August, to early October rut to post rut in late October. Description

Hunters should be prepared for a wide range of temperatures for this hunt with layering systems. (Temperatures can vary from 15F to 70F, contact outfitter for local forecast prior to hunt date). Hunter should be prepared for warm weather and snow. Comfortable and durable hiking boots are a must. Full gear list provided below.
